Stephanie Tubbs Jones Not Dead:Stephanie Tubbs Jones Alive In Critical Condition - Stephanie Tubbs Jones,Democratic U.S. Rep and the first black woman to represent Ohio in Congress suffered a brain hemorrhage on Tuesday.
Stephanie Tubbs Jones is not dead,despite reports claiming,that she died earlier today.She was driving her car,when all of this happened.Dr. Gus Kious, president of Huron Hospital in East Cleveland,said the following,during a news conference:
Tubbs Jones “collapsed when she suffered a very serious brain hemorrhage caused by an aneurysm that burst in an inaccessible part of her brain.”
A brain aneurysm is a bulge in an artery in the brain.When it leaks or ruptures,it causes bleeding in the brain.
Tubbs Jones who got elected in 1998,was one of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s biggest supporters during the primaries,she is a superdelegate and is expected to take part in next week’s Denver Democratic National Convention.
